Handbook on digital learning published
Is an examination of National Socialism and its crimes also possible in an online format? Together with the Documentation Center Nazi Forced Labor in Berlin-Schöneweide, the International Youth Meeting Center in Oświęcim/Auschwitz and the memorial sites Augustaschacht and Gestapokeller e. V. in/near Osnabrück, Action Reconciliation Service for Peace (Aktion Sühnezeichen Friedensdienste e.V.) explored this question in three different workshop formats. In the process, it was determined that conveying history online is not only possible, but can also be multifaceted and sustainable. The results of this work are now presented in this handbook (in German). In this handbook, the International Youth Meeting Center in Oświęcim/ Auschwitz presents a method that makes places of remembrance visible that are far away from large and well-known memorials.
The handout was developed in connection with the project "History points to the future", which was funded by the Foundation Remembrance, Responsibility and Future (EVZ) and the German Foreign Office within the framework of the funding program "Youth remembers".
