The workshops which are available for groups staying at the IYMC as part of study trips to Auschwitz or international seminars, concentrate on historical topics but they also fit the framework of civic education. On the one hand, they serve to broaden the knowledge about Auschwitz and the Holocaust, as well as the significance of this knowledge for Polish, German, and European culture of remembrance. On the other, they relate to contemporary events and personal responsibilities of individuals, which give participants a broader perspective on events and developments in the present-day society. The workshops are conducted by IYMC educators in Polish, German or English.

A workshop can be conducted for a group of max. 30 participants.
