We are pleased to inform you that the Director of the IYMC, Leszek Szuster, by decision of the Board of Directors of the Malopolska Province, was honored with the "Polonia Minor" award. The award was given in recognition for many years of activity and leadership of the International Youth Meeting Center, which has become a place to seek dialogue through education in the Land of Oświęcim and Małopolska.

The ceremony, part of Małopolska's celebration of World Tourism Day, was held at the Castle Museum in Oświęcim. "Polonia Minor" was also awarded to the owners of the Energylandia family entertainment park and the Saint Maximilian Centre in Harmęże.

During the event the winners and runners-up of the "Tourist Treasures of Małopolska" competition for the best tourist products and offers were presented. The competition is organised by the Małopolska Region in cooperation with the Małopolska Tourist Organisation, and its idea is to discover exceptional places that are not yet included in popular tourist guides, but have already gained recognition among tourists and can inspire them to travel to Małopolska.
