A HOUSE TO LIVE
A PLACE TO LEARN

We are in the town of Oświęcim to remind about Auschwitz. To convince, that we must learn from the past. We show that Oświęcim can be a place of meetings, reconciliation, and understanding. We are in the town of Oświęcim so that Auschwitz will not be repeated.

PRESENTATION OF THE 10TH POSTER BIENNALE IN GUERNICA

The exhibition of the 10th International Biennale of Social and Political Posters “Creative for Human Rights” was opened on April 25 in Guernica. It is presented at the Elai – Alai Aretoa Gallery, where it can be viewed until the end of May 2026.

The vernissage was a side event accompanying the main commemorations of the anniversary of the bombing of Guernica (1937). The opening of the exhibition was accompanied by a concert by the Japanese violinist Ai Yoshida.

The delegation visiting Guernica – a city that has been cooperating with Oświęcim for many years – included Joanna Klęczar-Déodat, Director of the MDSM, and Krzysztof Kania, Deputy Mayor of the City of Oświęcim.

The delegation took part in the commemorative ceremonies, the exhibition opening, as well as in discussions devoted to human rights, the issue of peace in the contemporary world, and building and strengthening relations between our cities.

We would like to thank you for the invitation to present the exhibition and are pleased that it can be shown in such an important and symbolic place.
