A HOUSE TO LIVE
A PLACE TO LEARN

We are in the town of Oświęcim to remind about Auschwitz. To convince, that we must learn from the past. We show that Oświęcim can be a place of meetings, reconciliation, and understanding. We are in the town of Oświęcim so that Auschwitz will not be repeated.

On 29 August, the Weimar Triangle Prize 2024 was awarded at a ceremony in the Weimar Town Hall Festival Hall. This year, the €2000 prize for outstanding civic engagement between Germany, France and Poland went to the music project ‘Youth. Europe. Music - The Weimar Triangle of Youth - musically animated’.
We congratulate all participants of this great initiative and thank our project partners with whom we have implemented this project since 2020:  Human Rights Education Centre at the Department of Cultural and Social Sciences at the Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (Landau site), Kreismusikschule Südliche Weinstraße, Staatliche Musikschule Oświęcim and
the École Municipale des Arts de Wissembourg.
